Can I rename a YouTube channel I bought?

Yes. Once you are an owner you can change the channel name, handle, picture and banner in YouTube Studio → Customization. The registration ("Joined") date never changes — that is what keeps an aged channel aged.

• Name, handle, avatar, banner and description are all yours to change
• The original registration date stays exactly as it was
• Old videos can be kept, hidden or deleted — your call
• YouTube limits how often a handle can be changed in a short period
